Wilbury Theatre Group Recognized by The American Theatre Wing, presenters of The Tony Awards®
NEW YORK, NY: Providence’s Wilbury Theatre Group has received the 2018 National Theatre Company Award from the American Theatre Wing, the organization behind the Tony Awards.
Wilbury artistic director Josh Short accepted the award at a ceremony at the Viacom Center in New York City. “This recognition from the American Theatre Wing is a tremendous honor,” said Short, according to a news release. “It is a testament to the extraordinary skill and creativity of the artists who have worked with us these past eight seasons, and it acknowledges too the loyal support of our ever-growing audience.....(continue reading). |
