SPECIAL REVIVAL PRODUCTION REIMAGINED FOR THE COVID-ERA
PRESENTED AT THE WATERFIRE ARTS CENTER 'THEATER UNDER THE STARS'
DECEMBER 3 - 20, 2020
view press release
Roland (a bee keeper) and Marianne (a theoretical physicist) meet at a party. In that single moment, an unfathomable multitude of possibilities unfold. Their chance meeting might blossom into a meaningful relationship or a brief affair: it might lead to nothing at all. Each step along those possible paths in turn offers a new series of potential outcomes.
Reimagined for the COVID-era, this revival of the Wilbury Group's 2019 audience-favorite production of CONSTELLATIONS will be performed drive-in style at the WaterFire Theater Under the Stars at the WaterFire Arts Center. All guests will enjoy the show from the safety and comfort of their cars. Performers will be live on stage, with live video feed projections and audio sent directly to you through your FM radio.
In an innovative new partnership with Arte Latino New England, Constellations will feature simulcast Spanish-language performances on select evenings, where the audience is able to tune into a separate FM station that will broadcast the dialogue in Spanish.
PLEASE NOTE: In accordance with Dept. of Health guidelines, physical distancing is required, and advance registration for all performances is required - no walk-up tickets will be available at the door. All guests will enjoy the show from the safety and comfort of their cars. Please note that all guests should only be in vehicles with people they live with or within the same household pod.
