There's no place on earth like Poetry City, but when Dolores tries to go, she finds that all roads to Poetry City are paved with banana peels.
The impish gardens of Farnoosh Fathi's poems are given an absurd and musical life in this new play, where each snail, cudgel, and fairygodmother that Dolores meets along the way aspires to more than just being alive. Every waltz brings them one step closer to reaching their higher selves-- or their deaths-- in Poetry City. They won't find out which till they get there.
