EXTENDED BY POPULAR DEMAND THRU JUNE 26!
From the celebrated and award-winning composer Dave Malloy comes Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812, an electropop opera based on a scandalous slice of Leo Tolstoy’s War and Peace.
Young and impulsive, Natasha Rostova arrives in Moscow to await the return of her fiancé from the front lines. When she falls under the spell of the roguish Anatole, it is up to Pierre, a family friend in the middle of an existential crisis, to pick up the pieces of her shattered reputation.
A portion of all ticket sales from 'Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812'
will be donated to support ongoing relief efforts in Ukraine.

REVIEWS:
"An incredibly moving electro-pop musical....The play is a sung-through musical based on a very small 70-page part of the novel. And let me just say upfront, I recommend it. It's great fun.

"Radiant NATASHA, PIERRE, & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 At Wilbury Theatre Group
An immersive atmosphere and excellent performances make for an enthralling experience...When Dave Malloy's NATASHA, PIERRE, & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 closed on Broadway in late 2017, fans of the show (myself included) lamented when, or if, it would be possible to see any iteration of this show again. Thanks to the Wilbury Theatre Group, our hopes have been answered!

"Electro-pop opera a winner at Wilbury...You can always expect the unexpected at Wilbury Theatre...The production is blessed with many fine voices, including Manchester, Shimizu and especially Rodney Witherspoon as Pierre, whose haunting voice with give you goosebumps. Bravo to Wilbury for taking on this giant of a play and succeeding to pull it off without a flaw."

"Out of this world...It is innovative and unlike anything else that’s ever hit a Broadway stage. More than anything, it is a spectacle and an experience. It’s not a feel good story, but it still manages to be fun. While the characters could easily become tropey caricatures, especially since what’s on display is only a thin slice of a whole story, in the hands of this cast and Short’s direction, they feel dynamic, and in this particular production, the novelty of the staging does not overpower their talent."
