A deceitful, child-eating witch, a path of moonlit stones, and a cottage made entirely of sweets and candy – Hansel and Gretel has all the making of a theatrical spectacle. Obstacle after obstacle, misfortune after misfortune, Hansel and Gretel’s will to survive has inspired generations of German children. Hansel and Gretel: The Story, The Drama, The Play seeks to bring this fairy tale of epic proportions to an American audience. Dread and love run rampant in this modern sexy relevant piece of raw human drama.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Picture
Emma Sacchetti is a Providence-based silly person. You can see her being silly in various theaters around the state and you can hear her being silly on her podcast, Relate to Me Now Before It’s Too Late.
Picture
Richie Whitehead has been making people laugh and not been making people laugh for most of his life. Over the past years he’s explored improv, acting and clown- all in the attempt to be funnier. This is his latest attempt.

Picture
Josiah is a darn good-looking actor, comedian, and writer who is happy to contribute to PVD's lovely art community.
